Was blown away with Google reviews & thought we’d give it a try. Food was good but not enough to get a 5 star. Octopus entree was so cooked in lemon juice that if you shut your eyes, you would think you’re wearing thinly sliced ham as the plates are pre-cured with lemon juice, the octopus has completely lost its bite & flakes apart. All pastas are heavily laddened with cheese and even the tomato based ones, so it was quite sickly to eat, especially as the meal cools a tad to warm, you have a thickened residue. Would recommend one pasta to 3 people to enjoy the taste. Service was terrible, guess as they are busy, they don’t really need it.

My recent dining experience at Ruby Red Flamingo left my taste buds thoroughly impressed, thanks to the tantalizing flavors of their pasta and dishes. Every bite was a journey of culinary delight, showcasing the kitchen's commitment to taste and quality ingredients. However, while the food was undoubtedly the star of the show, the same cannot be said for the service. Regrettably, the service fell short of the high standard set by the cuisine. Despite the service hiccups, the delicious offerings at Ruby Red Flamingo are a compelling reason to visit. The vibrant and inviting ambiance adds to the overall charm of the place. If the service could match the excellence of the kitchen, this restaurant would undoubtedly be a five-star gem. Nevertheless, for those willing to trade off a bit of efficiency for exceptional flavors, Ruby Red Flamingo is worth a visit.

We were simply walking past and couldn't resist the beautiful smells of food. Quite simply our noses were on the Money as usual. The staff welcomed us in and we dined like Kings.

Thoughtfully curated space that makes you feel like you’re eating at your nonna’s house for dinner - even when I’m not italian!! Simple, quality ingredients thoughtfully presented. The fresh tomatoes perfectly balanced the creamy burrata. The wagyu bresiola paired melted in my mouth. Squid ink pasta was perfectly cooked and the seafood was sweet to the taste. The steak missed the mark by being a little over but still good classic flavours. Overall a great experience and vibes you can’t find anywhere else in Adelaide.

This place is worth the hype. You know when your Italian friends recommend an Italian restaurant it will be good, but this place exceeds expectations. We did the set menu and it was generous and delicious. The service is warm and inviting - they are really attentive. It’s such a fun and high energy environment. The duck ravioli and Gorgonzola gnocchi flawless. We will be back! And thank you for allowing my to byo my alcohol free wine - very progressive of you as many Adelaide restaurants way behind the 8 ball on this!

WARNING!!! The food is awesome and the portions are HUGE!! I made the terrible mistake of eating the entire plate of pasta. I couldn’t eat anything else…. It was so good. Roberto is a superstar host. He guided us on our meal options and we also trusted him to decide what we wanted. Every person loved their meals. Congrats on a great establishment.

Comfort Italian food at its best!!! Stunning interiors, outdoor seating, and absolutely delicious food. Gorgonzola Gnocchi was definitely the star of the night and with the chili oil, it was amazing!!! Also had the duck ravioli and roasted potatoes, both absolutely delicious. Ended the night with the open Cannolo dessert. Overall, it was a great night, staff were friendly and the service was incredible. Will be coming back for sure.

my favourite italian restaurant here in adelaide! the burrata is a must! everything about it is amazing and mind blowing - the sweet and fresh tomato alongside the creaminess of the burrata 🙌 the duck ravioli, arancini and chicken schnitzel are amazing too !
